Tarner World Festival is due to take place on Saturday 12th September, 12-4pm on Richmond Parade.

Funding is available for community groups who have an impact on health and well-being.
Grants of up to £1,500 are available to community groups (who have an annual income up to £35,000) working on health improvement projects. A few examples of things funded in the past include:
-Community festivals with a health and wellbeing focus
-Serving healthy food in a group
-Weekly drop in group for transgender/gender questioning people to meet and subsidies for monthly meet and eat socials
-Exercise classes for women from BME communities
-Weekly meet ups and social events for specific communities
And lots more.
As well as the usual criteria, this round there is a particular emphasis on supporting older people’s projects to promote health and well-being – such as physical activities, intergenerational work and projects around food and healthy eating.
